Photos Of Student Of Oko Poly Stabbed To Death By Caretaker Over Water

A student was reportedly stabbed to death by the caretaker of one of the Federal Polytechnic Oko' s off- campus lodges over water pumping problems.

The deceased, identified as Abuchi, was stabbed in the neck by the caretaker at Currency Lodge on Saturday, April 24. Abuchi was an ND2 student in the Department of Public Administration.

The deceased and other tenants were said to have gone to the caretaker to complain about a lack of water. Following the complaint, both parties got into a confrontation, during which the caretaker stabbed Abuchi.

Abuchi' s lodge mates rushed him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Following the death of the student, the perpetrator is said to have fled.

Following the battle, police officers from the Oko Division reportedly arrived on the scene to begin an investigation. The body was taken to the mortuary and stored.

In a statement, the institution' s Director of Welfare, Student Union Government (SUG), acknowledged the incident and urged students not to take matters into their own hands while the case is being investigated by the Divisional Police Station Oko.

In the meantime, the deceased student' s relatives, colleagues, and family members have taken to Facebook to seek revenge.

Risi Henry Uchendu, for example, has provided a reward of N5 million for information on the suspect' s whereabouts. The caretaker, according to Uju Edeh, will pay a high price for killing her " brother. "
