Since duping a man for $1 million and attempting to hypnotize him with Juju, a young couple has been publicly humiliated.
A young boyfriend got himself into trouble after being arrested by police in the state of Edo for impersonating another man and receiving a sum of one million naira (N1 million) that was incorrectly sent to his account.
In a video uploaded to YouTube by Instablog9ja, the survivor who was duped recounts what happened. He said that the young girl, Josephine, was still found begging for money under the guise that her mother was gravely ill and needed to be rushed to the hospital for treatment.
She eventually gave him her account number after much persuasion, and he promised to get something for her. He had to move one million naira to someone' s account one day, and he transferred the money to the wrong account number, sending her five thousand naira again.
The lady disappeared with the money and disconnected from all of her linked devices, making it impossible to trace her. She ran into her lover, who had charged 30 000 naira (30 km) to hypnotize the silver owner with juju while speaking with a herbalist, and he had forgotten about the one million naira that had been returned to his girlfriend incorrectly.
The error in the contract was not noticed by the victim until he was told to submit the money to let him know he hadn' t received it.
When he looked into it, he discovered that the funds had been sent to the wrong account, and that the money had been sent to a woman who claimed she needed money to treat her sick mother. He posted her photo online before anyone approached her after his attempt to meet her was unsuccessful. When he called, he was supposed to be speaking with her partner, who told him that he had been duped.
He did, however, file a formal complaint with the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), and the police were able to track them down and apprehend them.
